Want to learn how to ride the currents of the Westside? Join us for our Introduction to Paddling Class at Sweetwater Creek State Park with Sylvester Pierce, an ACA-certified instructor and founder of the Self-Preservation Society, and with the Trust for Public Land!

About The Event
Have fun in the sun and learn the basics of paddling and water safety from Sylvester Pierce, an ACA-certified instructor and founder of the Self-Preservation Society, and with the Trust for Public Land! Be sure to bring a light lunch, plenty of water, a hat, sunscreen, shoes you don’t mind getting wet and dirty, or closed-toed water shoes. You must be 15 or older to participate; minors must be accompanied by an adult.
