About The Event

Have fun in the sun and learn the basics of paddling and water safety from Sylvester Pierce, an ACA-certified instructor and founder of the Self-Preservation Society, and with the Trust for Public Land! Be sure to bring a light lunch, plenty of water, a hat, sunscreen, shoes you don’t mind getting wet and dirty, or closed-toed water shoes. You must be 15 or older to participate; minors must be accompanied by an adult.
