HOW WE WORK
We partner with local and national organizations in an effort to restore and improve green spaces and waterways in West Atlanta. We maintain a 21+ acre urban forest, trails, a community garden, and a historic baseball field with the help of community volunteers. Our home, the Outdoor Activity Center, is where Atlanta meets nature.
Through the POWER OF PLAY, we facilitate cultural and placed-based programming for ages K-Grey including field trips, annual family events, school break camps, our Greenspace Wellness program, the EnviroExplorers Youth Club, and much more!
Working within some of the most environmentally challenged neighborhoods, we advocate for climate justice in energy burdened zip codes, advance sustainable development without displacement, grow and support local watershed stewardship councils, address food insecurity, and revitalize toxic spaces into healthy places.
