In the Community with West Atlanta Watershed Alliance

WAWA provides a number of diverse volunteer opportunities for West Atlanta residents, youth, and others from all over the Atlanta Metropolitan Area who interested in helping to improve environmental quality and quality of life in West Atlanta.

Volunteering Options

Volunteer opportunities range from participating in creek clean-clean-ups and weekly, monthly, or quarterly water quality monitoring to volunteering at community festivals, in the office, or at urban forestry service days and community education programs at the Outdoor Activity Center, Cascade Springs Nature Preserve, or the Lionel Hampton-Beecher Hills Park. No matter the age or stage in life, there’s something available for everyone’s interest, skill level, and physical ability.
