River Rendezvous on November 20
Join WAWA, Chattahoochee RiverKeeper, the Proctor Creek Stewardship Council, community members, and volunteers in collecting water samples throughout West Atlanta neighborhoods through which Proctor, Utoy, and Sandy Creeks flow to get a 1-day “snapshot” of water quality in these Westside streams. Help address water quality issues by learning about water quality monitoring!
Volunteers will meet for a brief training session at 9:30 am. Then at 10:00 am we will go out to collect water samples from various sites in Proctor, Sandy and Utoy Creeks, after which the data will be anaylzed to assess water quality.
What I enjoy about scrandle is that the rules are easy to understand, but getting several guesses right in a row is another story. It is a nice mix of visual judgment and knowing what people tend to choose.
